The 2nd ISPAD Postgraduate Course and Conference “CONTEMPORARY DIABETES” will take place at the “Golden Sands” resort, Varna, Bulgaria, 25-27 April 2013.

After the success of the Ist ISPAD Postgraduate Course in 2011, local organizers (Varna Pediatric Endocrine Society, VAPES) aim to attract any interested pediatric diabetologists and endocrinologists, pediatricians, medical students and diabetes nurses in 2013.

The first Sanofi ISPAD Research Course for Physicians was held in Lodz, Poland on November 15-21 2012.  Professor Wojciech Młynarski and his colleagues welcomed 16 students from 11 countries while the faculty comprised 7 lecturers from Poland, Marian Rewers, Tim Barrett and Kenneth Robertson representing ISPAD and Dragana Milo representing Sanofi Aventis.

Changing Diabetes in Children was held in Conakry, Guinea. ISPAD, CHU Donka (team of internal and pediatric medicine in Conakry) in collaboration with Novo Nordisk and Roche organized a 4-day course for local nurses, pedatricians and internists.
