The results of ISPAD Elections 2014!

Dear colleagues and friends,

The e-voting has been open since October and many members have taken the opportunity to vote for the ISPAD Advisory Council (2014-2016) and Treasurer (2015-2017).

It must have been a difficult choice with such a dedicated group of candidates. For those who were not elected this year, we very much hope that you will remain active within the society. We would welcome your application to run in the next elections!
For now we are pleased to announce the results of the 2014 Elections!

ISPAD 2014 - Report from the New ISPAD President

Dear ISPAD members,

ISPAD Elections 2014 are now closed

Dear ISPAD Members,
Following the technical problems in e-voting prior to the Annual General Meeting in Toronto and the subsequent cancellation of the e-voting results by the election scrutineers, a thorough revision of the e-voting process has been undertaken.

The e-voting for Advisory Council Members and Treasurer wasre-opened. E-voting was available to ISPAD Members during the following period:

Report from the 11th ISPAD Science School for Health Professionals

The 11th ISPAD Science School for Health Professionals (SSHP) was conducted in Toronto 31st August to 2nd September 2014. It was attended by 15 international students; 5 from Australia, 2 from USA, 2 from India, and 1 each from Belgium, Canada, Chile, Israel, New Zealand and Poland. There was also a good spread of disciplines including 4 dietitians, 5 diabetes nurse educators, 3 psychologists and 3 social workers.

E-Voting will be repeated

Dear friends and colleagues

As mentioned at the General Meeting this Friday (5th of September 2014), the scrutineers of the e-voting results have declared that the results are invalid. Despite extensive testing  prior to the start of the e-voting, a human error has caused the loss of all votes.

We deeply apologize for this. The IT and management committee are preparing a new e-voting procedure. You will receive further information in due course.

Kind regards

Carine de Beaufort

Secretary General
