ISPAD - a worldwide scientific society concentrating on all aspects of diabetes in children, adolescents and young adults, and JDRF - the leading research and advocacy organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, that initiates the co-sponsorship of 4 ISPAD - JDRF Research Fellowships, all up to 25.000 USD, offering diabetes researchers funding for at least six months of research in a recognized ISPAD center of excellence.
These grants are for ISPAD members below age 40, who wish to pursue a career in diabetes related research.
Call for applications will be published in March 2017.
