It is now your chance to nominate an individual with outstanding contributions in any field of pediatric diabetes  (The ISPAD PRIZE) or to nominate an ISPAD member with outstanding contributions in the field of Education and Advocacy: Lestradet prize for Education and Advocacy.

ISPAD members younger than 41 years may apply for the Young Investigator Award

ISPAD Prize for Achievement

Sponsored by Eli Lilly and Company

The ISPAD Prize for Achievement is the society’s highest honour. It is awarded to any individual who has made outstanding contributions in the areas of science, education and advocacy which have had a major impact on childhood and adolescent diabetes. The ISPAD Prize may be awarded to members or non-members of ISPAD.

The Prize consists of a glass sculptured trophy, a monetary prize of US$ 5,000 plus economy travel, registration and 4 hotel nights to ISPAD Annual Conference. The recipient will be expected to formally receive the Prize at the Annual Conference of ISPAD.

Nominations should include a CV of the proposed awardee, and letters supporting the application.

 

ISPAD Lestradet Prize for Education and Advocacy

Sponsored by the Children with Diabetes Organization

The ISPAD Lestradet Prize for Education and Advocacy will be given to honour any ISPAD Member who has made an outstanding contribution within education and advocacy. The prize winner is awarded US$ 3,000, 4 hotel nights, registration and economy travel to the Annual Conference of ISPAD, where he or she will receive this prize.

Nominations should include a CV , and letters supporting the application

 

 

ISPAD Young Investigator Award

Sponsored by Medtronic

Any ISPAD Member (aged 40 or less) can apply for the ISPAD Young Investigator Award. The application must include a paper published in a peer reviewed journal within two years prior to the application, and a CV including all publications. The winner will receive US$ 3,000 and economy travel to the Annual Conference of ISPAD, where he or she will formally receive the prize. Application should include the cv and  the referenced paper!
