We are pleased to announce the 10th ISPAD Science School for Health Professionals which will take place three days before the annual ISPAD meeting in Gothenburg in October 2013.

The three day Science School is a foundation course in research methodology designed for allied health professionals (dietitians, nurses, psychologists, and social workers) who have or wish to develop a research interest in diabetes in children and adolescents.

The Fifth ISPAD Science School for Health Professionals will be held in Durban immediately prior to the 34th Annual Scientific Meeting of ISPAD.

The Fourth ISPAD Science School for Health Professionals will be held in Berlin immediately prior to the 34th Annual Scientific Meeting of ISPAD. The 3 day meeting is designed for nurses, dietitians, psychologists, social workers and podiatrists (not MD’s) who have or wish to develop a research interest and expertise in diabetes in young people. The School will give participants an understanding of research methodologies, qualitative and quantitative statistics and will provide constructive discussion about research projects currently being undertaken or considered.
