What’s new in this chapter relates to:


1.      Expanded and updated sections on screening and management of associated conditions and complications, including other autoimmune diseases, with the addition of easy to read tables that summarize each condition with screening recommendations. 


2.      Inclusion of new sections including skin related complications with use of insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring.


3.      Revised section for celiac disease that highlights screening, diagnostic and management recommendations.
