The Nutrition Basics and Guide to Carbohydrate book is authored by Sheryl Salis, RD, CDE in collaboration with India Medtronic Pvt Ltd. The book also covers guidance on reading food labels and carb counts of restaurant menus, enabling the patient to get the right estimate of the carb content of the meals for accurate insulin bolus dosing. This book also touches upon fat and protein counting along with information on the effective  use of insulin pump therapy.
