CwD-JENIOUS Award
Children with Diabetes (CwD) and ISPAD have shared a strong partnership for over 20 years, working together to bridge the gap between the scientific community and people living with diabetes. In this spirit, the CwD–JENIOUS Award was created to recognize outstanding early-career researchers.
Each year, the JENIOUS Special Interest Group, together with Children with Diabetes, announces the Award for the best JENIOUS-CwD research project. Submitted projects should follow the motto: “Focus on diabetes care today, expecting a cure tomorrow.” The authors of the two best project proposals are invited to present their work during the JENIOUS session at the ISPAD Annual Meeting (in-person or virtually). From these, one winner is selected and invited to present their project at the Friends for Life conference hosted by CwD in the succeeding year.
We highlight that the JENIOUS group and the CwD will offer all the networking opportunities to make your research project feasible and visible, but we cannot offer any funding for it.
